When is Warners going to get off its keester and release this great film?

I love the music, and wanted to check how it sounds with the movie...
Warners are now preparing a DVD release for 2008 as part of the "Edward G Robinson Signature Collection". I am reliably informed that a huge search is underway for the original 1941 uncut version. Let's hope they find it!
