Lupe

Did anybody catch Barrymore, in one of his numerous encounters with Lupe Velez, called her "CARMELITA" when her name in the movie is Carmen? Carmelita is Lupe's name in the concurrent RKO series "THE MEXICAN SPITFIRE". Think this was a drunken or drink addled remark from John that was just left in the film?
