What took him so long?

How come Montgomery decided not to tell his "wife" (Lombard) that they weren't married? Was it his intention to tell her? Did he know that she knew? Was he just having fun with her?

By the way, I love their chemistry. Lombard was absolutely beautiful.

The thought of having her as an unmarried woman gave him an illicit thrill. He certainly didn't know she knew. He'd probably have let it slip the next morning over the tea and toast.

Lombard was absolutely beautiful.

True. This was the first time I've seen one of her films. I hope to see more of them.
