Old Days

I guess I'm showing my age but jez.. how beautiful Miami was back then.. like what we would have to travel to Tahiti now...
Why they design all new bldg's the same... no class.. no personality...
The Flamingo hotel in the movie was torn down in the 50's I believe... so they could put up.. square high rise condos...
But it's the same in everything... & everywhere..
By the 3rd generation after a time period.. all real experience of that period is gone.. just films..
So can't blame todays folks.. they just don't have the time to really think about it.. About what they've lost...
Nature can be fun... concrete just doesn't do it for me...
When is the last time you were on a beach in the USA.. And their was cocounts trees on it.. Well, Hollywood Beach, Fl.. just abit north of Miami beach.. Still have trees on the beach.. So cool.. no need to go to carribean isle..
One more thing.. the waist high trousers Don Ameche is wearing.. so cool.. I've wonder for a long time why with all the 'retro' looks coming back.. that the styles of the 30's & 40's hasn't come back.. what lines for men and women.. boy wish someone would sell trousers like those..
Ok Ok.. so i'm in fantasy land..
