I haven't seen this one before. It looks like another good Universal Horror movie.
Anne Nagel, the leading lady in this one, certainly had a difficult life.

I actually haven't heard of or seen this movie before until I looked it up on MeTV's schedule and Wikipedia .

I notice George waGGner directed this one. He did several of these Universal horror movies. I recognize the name becuase of the odd spelling. He later directed many of the Warner Brothers TV series in the 50s and 60s.
Watching it right now. Glad svenghoulie is still on. Sad to see creepy Kofy movie time end, but at least there's a few late night monster movie hosts still around...

Saw it for the first time on Sven tonight. I like liked this movie. It should have a better rating -- just for the cute little dog.
shareJust watched my dvr. It was a solid flick. Chaney jr was great here. The actor who played the mad doctor was also good. Less campy than you would expect and just evil. He seemed interested in making a new race of humans but also seemed to get off on torturing Danny. I was worried something bad would happen to the dog. It was a solid flick I had never heard of.
