mummy case question
Near the end when they get Lorraine (Ann Sheridan) shut up in the mummy case, wouldn't they have been able to hear her yelling and screaming to be let out? I love this movie, but I've always thought that was odd. -- mkm

shareI thought the same thing, but it was just a movie based on a comedy play asking you to play along a little with it at the end so they could quickly wrap up the story.
sharePschroeter, I agree, just a movie (as Hitchcock would say), I just thought it was odd, mainly because it's such an essential resolution -- slamming her in the mummy case solves their problem and it always jumps out at me, "she's not making noise???" It doesn't ruin the movie for me at all, I was just curious to know what others thought. Yes, a play, I'd love to have seen it. -- MKM
shareIt seemed rather cruel to do that to her.
