Spy in every train?

I had to laugh at the scene where Pidgeon was trying to get into any subway car to elude the enemy following him and finally found a car...who just so happens had a German spy reading the "Times"? Which makes one believe if he got in any of those cars there was the enemy in each one of them. LOL
