Where did the bed go?

Spade lives in a studio flat - the bed is in the living room. Except that by the last scene the bed has disappeared and been replaced by a sofa (which Miss O'Shaughnessy is lying on as they wait for Effie with the falcon).

Maybe the bed folds out of the sofa.
