The Piano Concerto

What was the name of the piano concerto that the blind musician played with the orchestra during one of the flashback sequences?

OK, I have been going nuts trying to find this out. Here is some of what I found:

Lydia (1941)

Motion Picture Composer(s):
Miklós Rózsa

Released in:
1941

Country:
United States

Genre:

Also known as:

Illusions (1941)

Other Resources:

Other information
Total number of members who have this title in their:
Collection: 274
Wish list: 39

There are 4 labels for this title.
There are 6 compilation albums for this title.

I then went to Amazon and looked up Illusions by Miklos Rozsa. He has written so much music for so many movies! But it doesn't list this one.

I just watched this movie for the very first time and LOVED it! Anyway, I hope this helps you a little!

I guess the concerto shown in the concert flashback was a short "concerto" written especially for the film by Rozsa. I thought it might have been a more famous piano concerto that had previously been written years ago and they just used a portion of it in the film, but apparently it was music written by Rozsa himself. Interesting. If he wrote it in 1941 specifically for this movie, then chances are the entire piano concerto was never recorded, so you will never find it outside of what they show in the movie. That's a shame. It would be interesting to hear the entire piece.

Thanks for spending the time on this.
