Does anyone know is this movie will ever be released on DVD. I own the thin man series, and Libeled Lady, but I thought that this was the funnies pairing of Myrna Loy and William Powel.

I've been looking, but unfortunately haven't found anything. Even the VHS copy of this is hard to find and somewhat pricey. I'm hoping that eventually they will release a Powell collection of some kind....or even a Powell/Loy collection of their non-Thin Man films.

Absolutely! We need a DVD boxed set of the Powell & Loy films. The "Thin Man" box is a good start.

Warners now owns most of the MGM Golden Age Films (Ted Turner bought them in the 80s and his network became part of Warners). If anybody can find a way to reach their decision makers on DVD issues, I'd be grateful to know how. I enjoyed Love Crazy even more than any of the three Thin Man films I've seen.

I've read several rumors to the effect that a boxed set collection of Powell & Loy's films unreleased-on-DVD efforts will appear sometime this year--I hope they're true!

That's the rumor going around - that the Thin Man boxed set of DVD's was so hugely successful that another boxed set of the remaining Loy-Powell movies is appearing sometime soon (2007).

I definitely hope that it's more than just a rumor. I'd also like to see a collection of (non-Loy) Powell films...the ones they never seem to show on TCM. (Ladies' Man, etc.)

Yep, definitely more than a rumor because it came out last week and I'm watching Love Crazy from the set at this exact moment. I had it on pre-order since the day it was announced and with express delivery, had it in my hot little paws last Tuesday.

I have read online that a Myrna Loy and William Powell boxed set is to be released on August 7th of this year. These are the movies rumored to be included in the set:

Manhattan Melodrama
Evelyn Prentice
Double Wedding
I Love You Again
Love Crazy

Thanks for the heads up. I just made my pre-order. I have seen the other 3 films, but Love Crazy and I Love you again are classics. Loy and Powell at their best.

Yup, they just announced on TCM that the set is on sale now in stores or on their website. It is playing on TCM now.

That collection is for sale on DVD on amazon. Just watched 'Love Crazy' and thought it was very funny - never even heard of it!
