Gone With the Wind
This movie is far superior and a realistic one.
shareThe Little Foxes is excellent, but Gone With the Wind, no matter how historically inaccurate and offensive, is sprinkled with fairy dust.
shareI'm a little puzzled why you would be comparing these two movies. The only two similarities I see are that they are both set in the deep South. There were no slaves in The Little Foxes, since the story takes place in the early 1900's, although all the servants are black. The only other similarity is that the main character in both movies is a manipulative, self-centered Southern woman. I don't really see many parallels in the story line, so it's difficult for me to compare the two movies.
Life's a banquet, and most poor suckers are starving to death!
How and why go about comparing filet mignon and crepes suzette?
These are two excellent movies that have only the most superficial similarities. It's just ... weird to force some kind of competitive scale on them.
