Was that Shirley doing her own singing? I am asking because it did NOT sound like her.

Not only is that not her singing, you're not even supposed to think it is. The entire scene is a silly phantasy, and the operatic flourishes sound (and are meant to sound) unbelievable next to her actual singing voice, which never in her life went beyond sprechstimme.
