What Battleship was used in the filming?

The movie was filmed before December 7, 1941. Is it possible this particular ship was at Pearl Harbor rhe morning of the attack?

It is unlikely that the Arizona was used. A very detailed history of the Arizona lists only the movie, Here Comes the Navy, as being filmed on the Arizona.

Of the 8 Battleships present at Pearl Harbor (1 in drydock the others in Battleship row), only the Arizona, Oklahoma, Nevada and Pennsylvania had tripod masts. The others still had the old cage masts. The ship at the beginning of the film and the one that Bud and Lou are transferred to still could be the Arizona though as the shots are not taken on board the ship itself but from a distance.

I have just watched the movie again and paused during the ship scenes to see if I could see which ship it was.

First, ALL scenes with any actors on is on a stage and not on a ship.

All the scenes of actual ships involves at least two of the 4 possible ships (Arizona, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma and Nevada.)

The Nevada is definitely one of the ships seen as it had 2 gun main turrents as late as 1940. But most of the other "live" scenes was one of the other 3.

These live scenes were not shot for the movie. They appear to all be stock footage from the Navy.
