From the posters outside the theater, 'Flames of Passion' is the movie that Jill and Frankie spend all night at when they're hiding out from the police. None of the listings on IMDB under that title seem to match up with the advertising. Is it a real movie?

Not sure. I found two hits for that title that pre-date this move, both from the early 20's.
There was an "Adults Only" sign on the marquee as well, so not sure if it meant the same thing in 1941 as its designation later came to be associated with movies that contain nudity. A film buff could probably clarify.
