The wedding festival

It seems that the older I get, the more sentimental I get. I loved the wedding festival. That is really where they fell in love. It made the movie for me. I also felt the same way last Christmas when I saw Remember the night and Willy (Sterling Holloway) sang The End of a Perfect Day. It was so touching. Georges Iscovescu may have been a cad, but even he could not resist the charm of that weekend. That's what I loved about Wilder, he could play soft as well as hard.

Yes, these kinds of scenes are the hallmarks of a great movie.

I have to admit, the idea of them camping out in the school bus struck me as almost a scene from a '60s movie rather than a pre-WWII movie.
