Where went Here comes?

This movie is on regularly and advertises as just "Mr Jordan"
This is one of the great classics and deserves better.

I think so too, its one of the first movies I remember seeing when I was little. I remember it because of its canera style, and originality. YOu're right, it deserves better.

Most definitely this movie deserves the credit it is due. At the very least, the common courtesy of being referred to by it's proper title "Here Comes Mr. Jordan". A little trivia for anyone who is interested: The remake of this movie which starred Warren Beatty was released as "Heaven Can Wait" (not as nearly as good as the original "Here Comes Mr. Jordan"). Also, if anyone is interested, there was another older movie released as "Heaven Can Wait", however, the first version of "Heaven Can Wait" starred Don Amiche which centered around a married skirt-chaser who found himself sent to hell when he died but heaven interevend to defend his case. A very cute, entertaining movie and one of my favorite Don Amiche movies which you may enjoy if you're devoted to the classics.

Just to add to what sandpiper has said, "Heaven Can Wait", was also the title of the original play by Harry Segall.

I haven't noticed it's being on regularly by any means. It seems to come around only every ten years or so, but maybe I've just been in different TV markets from yours.

Also, in my TiVo listings (furnished by Tribune Media Services--the listings provider for almost all major outlets), it always lists the entire correct title. Maybe some local TV stations or newspapers truncate it, but I've never seen that.

I question the title while I was watching it. Mr. Jordan never "comes" nor is anyone expecting him.
