I believe an R1 release is still held up due to a dispute regarding songs, but as mentioned here, an authorised R2 DVD did come out in 2007. I've temporarily loaded images from my own collection showing the original VHS insert, plus various DVD inserts for the R2 release, plus the Australian release with extras, and other possible bootleg versions which generally are sold on the proviso that the seller is offering "public domain" material from an original source. The Australian version which I own was on public sale here a few years ago, and although it's promoted on the insert as "remastered from original elements", it's patchy in parts! So I look forward to eventually buying the R2 version. http://triang.nexo.com/hellzapoppin

Hi there,
It is being sold here in Berlin, Germany in the stores.
It is also available through amazon.de for 9.95 euros.
German title is:
"In der Hölle ist der Teufel los"
It is part of the "Hollywood Highlights" collection of films put out by Universal in Germany.
It comes in both german and english.
Most likely there are no subtitles either.
Since I do not own a copy yet, I do not know if there are any bonus`. But I think there will not be any as in their other releases only contain the film.
Release says 81 minutes. This is because the PAL format runs a bit faster.
The prints are normally top notch on these releases.

You can buy "Hellzapoppin" and a few other Olsen & Johnson comedies at moviesumlimited.com. I ordered "Hellzapoppin" but haven't received it yet. Once I do, if anyone is interested I'll info you of the quality of the DVD. Or if anyone else has already ordered from them, would you mind telling me of the quality?
