But was she really a pianist? Every time I watch this film I marvel about how realistic Ms. Astor's piano playing skills are. She seems to really know her way around a keyboard. Does anyone know if she really can play the piano? (Worst fake piano playing: Hurd Hatfield in The Picture Of Dorian Gray. He looked like he was stirring a cake mix.) Thank you!

Astor was a pianist; however, in the movie she was doing a great job of faking. The sound was dubbed by another player.
