I just saw on their web site that Criterion is releasing this movie in February! I finally got a chance to see this on TCM a couple of weeks back and I was really impressed with all the images of downtown Winnipeg (my home town) circa the early 1940's.

I bought the Criterion double DVD. Wow.
The picture is restored, 'way better than we'll see on TV. I said in another forum "It's as crisp as new 50-dollar bill .. and cost about as much, but worth it."
My local PBS affiliate is showing the remastered version tonight. I will be firing up the Sony S-VHS for this one.
