Running time

It's because it was their choice. In my opinion, It works at that runtime of 65 minutes. It has a much younger audience than Bambi, But adults like it too you know. Bambi, on the other hand, 69 minutes is pretty short, plus, it doesn't work at that runtime. Bambi should have been longer at like 96 minutes long. That way, It would have had more scenes and some more character developement, some of which was in Bambi and the Great Prince of The Forest(2006)Aka. Bambi 2.
Then, Bambi 2 would be when he is a grown up and his adventures with his family.
Still, I like Bambi 2 just as much as the first.

P.S. Bambi is probably more like an anime than any other disney movie. It's like Naruto only better, Naruto on the other hand is an ugh perverted series.

Also, will you help me on my mission for an Uncut(original Japanese version) dvd and bluray release of Kimba the White Lion(1965) aka Jungle Emporer Leo.

I always wonder how short films like 'Dumbo' were featured at the cinema. I suppose 'Dumbo' was a main feature. But normally a movie had to be at least 75 minutes like 'Snow White' and 'Pinocchio' to be a main feature.
