dressed to kill really?

I just started watching this and I can't believe how poorly the suit Lloyd Nolan's character is trying on in the opening sequence fits. The sleeve at the shoulder wasn't set in properly the fabric is gathered. As the salesman is saying how great it fits the actor speaking the line hesitated for a second as he noticed the ill fit. I love L.N. and I'm going back to watch the rest of the film that I'm sure doesn't revolve around how clothing fits. I just thought it was odd with the movie's title.
