As Christians...

John 3:16 explains what you get by accepting Jesus as Savior.

And wars throughout history have proven why religion is ridiculous.

No religion, no war.

As a Born Again Christian.....I was NOT taught that all people are evil unless they accept Jesus Christ as their Savior.

I was taught that accepting Jesus Christ, FORGIVES us for our SINS; and that rejecting Jesus, the Son of God....condemns our souls to hell. In actuality, it's not our sins that sends us to hell.....it's the rejection of Jesus Christ who is the payment for our sins. I know it's difficult to understand; but you have to do it by faith!

I know a few people who have not made a declaration to accept Jesus Christ, and they are far from evil. They are people of integrity, great character and care a lot about other people. I pray for them to come into the knowledge of really knowing and accepting Christ....so that they can be forgiven for their sins....and their souls saved from Hell.

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" (24) "Being justified (forgiven) freely by his grace through the redemption (payment) that is in Christ, Jesus.


John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, (Jesus Christ)that whosoever believeth in him should not perish (soul will not burn in Hell), but have everlasting life (live forever in Heaven)."



If there really IS a Hell below (and I do believe there is according to the Bible); I don't want to risk going there....so I'd rather have the assurance of my sins being forgiven through Christ Jesus before I leave this earth!

But....if there really ISN'T a Hell below.....I'd still rather have the forgiveness of Jesus Christ....because then I've really lost nothing by accepting him!

In other words....."I'd rather risk being right.....than risk being wrong!!
