Name change?

Someone remembering IMDB's pretentiousness policy in movie title listing, it seems.

I was confused as well. I heard about this movie on Coast To Coast AM and then rented it from Netflix. All under the name "The Devil and Daniel Webster". It was by luck that I figured out this was the same movie. They should change it back.

On Turner Classic Movies, they said the original title was "The Devil and Daniel Webster" and was based on the Stephen Vincent Benet story of the same name. A movie came out a few months before this one called "The Devil and Miss Jones" and the thought was that the names were too similar, so they decided at the last minute to change it to "All That Money Can Buy." When this movie was re-issued, it went back to the original title, "The Devil and Daniel Webster."

this seem to have alot of alternative titles and different version of it, it was mentioned as being extraordinary expensive on dvd, i found it out of small selection of classic movies from a scandinavian store, not sure which version that is, but i don't regret getting it, a review book i got has it titled with the "daniel" bit, i've never seen opening credits like this, the whole thing about "infront" and "behind" camera part, after watching the covers for this i was surprised to see walter huston as second credit, its funny reading in reviews and such that some people find "belle" scarier than "scratch" himself, what a unique movie overall, reminded me of the twilight zone episodes "printers devil" and "one for the angels", very moving at times, and an incredibly neat ending scene of him deciding who he'll visit next.
