Does Anyone

know who holds the rights to this as it is never shown on any of the movie channels. Is Fox still making any of the others Chans available in dvd format and if not, I wonder what the hold up is.

Hi there to myself. Flick is finally available on well preservrd Fox dvd. Movie is less exciting than I remember it, but is still fun in a sort of silly Agatha Christie way. Hail to Charlie and Number Two dork!

Pretty good Chan entry. I found my old VHS copy a few days ago that I had copied off the USA network a thousand years ago. Too Fox tired of the Chan franchise. The last one for Fox, CASTLE IN THE DESERT, is among the best.

Right you are along with Treasure Island Chan. What is your fave Warner Oland Chan?

reply

Charlie Chan at the Opera is my favorite Oland Chan, with CC at the Olympics running a close second.

reply

My fave of all of Oland's is "Charlie Chan's Secret". Haven't seen the Olympics one in a long time and do not remember it well.

I also liked CC in Shanghai and At the Race Track. Both have really nifty endings.

Pardon please! You convict self.

"Dead Men Tell" is on the Movies! TV network right now. I'm watching it with a pair of rabbit ears but it is my understanding Comcast carries Movies! network.
