What Is That Instrument?

In the scenes where the bullfighters are praying before entering the arena, there is a dirge-like melody being played on a instrument that I can't figure out. It sounds tremulous, like fingers run around the edge of a goblet, but there is a bell-like quality and an element that sounds like a horn of some kind as well. Does anyone know what I'm talking about, or what that instrument/instruments might be? Thanks.
