I just finished watching Birth of the Blues on a DVD that I bought with Blue Skies. Watching Bing Crosby and Mary Martin made me think of the tv show Dallas. Mary Martin's son, Larry Hagman(J.R. Ewing) was "shot" by Bing Crosby's daughter, Mary Crosby(Kristin)in the famous episode: Who shot J.R.? Just an observation.

I didn't think of that but it certainly is an oddity.
