Watch Harpo closely

In the bedroom scene, watch how Harpo continually mimics the father's (Henry Armetta) way of walking. I've noticed this about Harpo, he seems to always be distracted by something else, in Go West he makes small wave gestures to someone offscreen...I got the impression that his object of distraction may have been female.
