Nice Andy Hardy entry, ups and downs for Andy as usual. Same old formula, but I guess that's why we all keep coming back...we like the formula.
Unfortunately, no Cecilia Parker as sister Marion. Mistake...while Father/Son relationship plays heavy in all the Hardy flicks, they should have never dismissed the Brother/Sister interactions that added so nicely to the other hardy films.
Apparently Cecilia was on punishment. According to the info on her page, the year this movie was made, 1941, MGM lent her out to a lesser studio.
This was done when the talent was either not doing as they were told or they did something the studio heads didn't like. It wasn't specified what Cecilia had done or failed to do to deserve that fate.
She’s also missing from another movie made that same year: Life begins for Andy Hardy but she does make a return in some later versions; at least she made the credits.
