It would be nice to see Frank Coghlan in rumored SHAZAM! movie

I read on a Michael Gray website that he(Gray) is in talks to appear in a cameo in said film, but I think it would also be nice to see Mr. Coghlan in a cameo after all, he was the first Billy Batson.

Will there ever be a remake of Captain Marvel again though or always just talk.

He was born in 1916. They better hurry (assuming he hasn't passed away and no one has posted an update to his bio).

He died September 7.

Coughlin made for a great interview in Leonard Maltin's "Cliffhangers, Adventures from the Thrill Factory." It was produced in the late 80's or early 90's and features interviews and clips from many great Republic serials.

IMDb dates that title to 1993. However, I remember watching something dated to the early 90s to the same point. Leonard Maltin hosted (not indicated here about your show), and the only interviewees were Linda Sterling and Clayton Moore (listed here) and stuntman Tom Steele (not listed). Does any of this sound familiar and there are some IMDb oversights while I've just forgotten the other five participants (along with Junior, they list here Gene Autry, Barry Shipman, Peggy Stewart--the only one still with us today--and William Witney)?

I first saw the Maltin one on AMC (I think), then found it on VHS. Linda Stirling, Frank Coughlin, Gene Autrey and William Witney were interviewed, and I don't remember Tom Steele in it but he might have been included. Clayton Moore was interviewed in it, talking about filming a Jesse James serial where the director forgot to call cut as a burning wagon is rolling along. Aparently, the director had a bit of pyromaniac. Around the same time, I did find another program about the serials and there was some overlap in subject, but I barely recall anything about it.
