I Came For Charlotte Greenwood

By chance I pulled "Flying High" (1931) off the shelf at the library a couple of weeks ago. Miss Greenwood reminded me a lot of an old friend, and it wasn't long before I was reading everything online about this fascinating lady.

"Young People" is my 2nd film of Charlotte's, and the first that I have seen of Shirley Temple in a LONG time. I really enjoyed this film.

I haven't seen "Oklahoma" yet - at least not since I was a young boy in the sixties and my mom dragged me to it...

I don't really care for musicals, per se, but when a gem like Charlotte Greenwood comes along, I'm ready to step up!
I got this DVD from the library, but I already know I will be adding this to the permanent collection. :)
