I cracked up at...

...the scene where he goes to the office as HER, with very pronounced feminine mannerisms, flamboyant , flouncy and of ALL things carrying a woman's purse into the crowded office, where he usually is known to arrive every morning quite the opposite, manly, virile and in command! I am not familiar with the actor playing Tim Willows, ( John Hubbard ), but he handled this odd role wonderfully and I wonder why I have not seen him, or remember him at all, and I love watching old movies. Anyway this movie is a gem as far as I am concerned and it cracked me up!

I just got a chance to watch this movie last night. I loved it. I laughed throughout it at different points but the scenes you're describing were the funniest. I'm not familiar with the actor either but I think he handled the role, especially the 'sex change' part, brilliantly.

He mastered all the mannerisms so well and looked so comfortable doing them it seemed like his wife had really taken over his body. It's funny how it made me notice a few things I hadn't thought about before. As a man, he carried himself in a much more rigid, firm, frame. Then, as his wife, he almost became gelatinous in the way he carries himself; wiggling and jiggling and not really holding his head straight.

He was funny enough on his own but I loved all the reactions people had to him as he went through the day doing all the little things that women go through that guys never experience. That, I guess, has to do with good writing too. Anyway, I love the movie.

Woman, man! That's the way it should be Tarzan. [Tarzan and his mate]
