Like Marilyn

I didn't get that impression while watching the movie and I don't think I'd ever come up with the Marilyn association on my own but after reading your comments I went back and took a look at her. I guess I can see where you're coming from.

There may be some similarities in how they look. There are certainly commonalities in how their lives unfolded; both very tragic. They both committed suicide, from what we know. They both were married several times during their short lives and had affairs with prominent men. I think they were contemporaries who had the same influences but I don't think there are any similarities in their acting styles. They don't seem to have taken on the kinds of roles either.
