John Charlesworth

John Charlesworth appeared in the British 1951 version of Tom Brown's Schooldays - this is the Hollywood version of 1940.

I just saw this version of Tom Brown's Schooldays for the first time, and looked it up here. I was saddened to learn of the untimely death of John Charlesworth. He was so wonderful in his role as East, that I wanted to write him and tell him so. Sometimes, we find bad news here, even if it's fifty years late. Do you have any more information on him? Thank you.
