To begin with, I can't believe that this message board is empty. Maybe the reason lies in what brought me here. This film hasn't been seen anywhere, apparently, in over a quarter century. I don't expect to get an answer, but let me ask a couple of questions. Has anyone seen it recently? Does anyone know why it has disappeared? Could it be a copyright issue? Since this 1940 film was made by RKO Radio, it should be in the TCM library, but in the twelve years that I've been watching Turner, it has never aired on that station. This as an important movie made by a talented director, with two world-famous stars, yet it seems to have yawed into oblivion.

It was on BBC 2 last year,I finally got around to watching it yesterday.

Not a bad film at all.Good performances from the 3 leads.

It's on BBC 2 right now - they might put it on iPlayer if you're lucky.

It looks like that DVD is for Playback Region 2 players (not US or Canada). Bummer.
