Any news on the DVD?

Any news on the DVD release of this gem? I don't know which studio owns the rights to it, or even if its public domain, but it needs releasing some time very soon...

It's uPublic Domain, so legally I could sell you my copy of this film on DVD. It's Remastered and for a film that old it looks really good. Like it was made in the Late 50's - Early 60's.

How did you get a remastered copy? My copy on DVD was a VHS-to-digital transfer I did at my school. I then ripped it to my computer and converted it to a 700MB DivX file, but I'd be very interested in a remastered edition of the film.

The film is available on a legal DVD by manga films/Spain. The transfer is quite good, though the picture has not been restored.

I'd love to get a copy of this, on DVD, if it's not too dear.

It was released by Warner Archives on 9/21/10. See details on the new thread here about this DVD.

Oh great! I would love to make this movie part of my library.

I got my copy from Warner Archives yesterday. It's really good.
No extras. Warner Archives DVDs are all High Quality DVD-R discs but look really good never having bonus features.
I'm watching it now. It says "remastered edition" on the box and it appears to be a very clean transfer. It's an early example of film noir so worth it for ones collection of the same.
