Dennie Moore + Anne Shirley

I think she's lovely and adds a real 'breath of fresh air' and comedic timing to the picture.

And, I love to see Anne Shirley - I've loved her since her wonderful (and moving) performance in 'Stella Dallas'.

Poor John Garfield seems to be totally miscast - A shame, he worked so well with Joan Crawford in 'Humouresque' and he was a skillful lady-killer in 'The Postman Always Rings Twice'. I think he's much better in these gritty and deep character roles.
