BluRay vs DVD?

Has anyone been able to compare the quality of the Blu Ray vs the DVD on Remember the Night? This is one of a handfull of movies that I'm willing to upgrade if I know that the Blu Ray is a much better transfer than the DVD. I upgraded for White Christmas and was in awe of the difference but when I upgraded The Best Years of Our Lives (my all time favorite movie), I could barely see a difference from the DVD. So, if anyone has seen them both and has an opinion, I'd love to hear it.

Thanks!

I recently compared the two, and the bluray blew the DVD out of the water. I really didn't expect such a difference and was pleasantly surprised. It's well worth a double dip.

I believe the Blu-ray disc has sold out. It "deserved" to sell out because it's a fabulous disc.

It has but hopefully they'll press more since it was only released last year. It may have been a good seller for TCM. I guess we'll just have to cross our fingers.

I have a DVD--a public domain copy from some company I never heard of. It is so bad that it's unwatchable. I just bought the Blu Ray, and it's very good.
