Playing baseball
I loved how everybody was telling the boy to stop playing baseball. Here we have, a boy who could have been as good as DeMaggio, who is constantly being put pressure on to dedicate his life to everything else... but for baseball. What I like most about it is that, in a way, is much more true to real life than all those crappy movies in which somebody becomes instantly a star because everybody instantly recognises how talented they are.
I've always thought that you need a certain rebelliousness in life to get what you want, just leading a life exactly as your parents is not the best solution. How are things going to improve if everybody just says "yes, sir", "yes, madam" to everything they are told?
