Funny film

I just got the "Abbott And Costello Complete Universal Pictures Collection" and this was the first film I watched from the collection. I had not seen it before, and had heard that it wasn't a very good film. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that it was a very enjoyable and funny movie. Not only were A&C funny, but so was just about everyone in the cast (with the possible exceptions of Nancy Kelly and William Frawley whose characters really weren't meant to be funny). Bob Cummings, Peggy Moran, and Mary Boland gave great comedic performances. The real surprise for me was Allan Jones. He actually was very good in his comedy scenes. The A&C comedy routines were taken directly from their radio program, and are classic comedy. The best one has to be the mustard routine. One of the funniest moments in the film though, has to be the scene on board ship with Mary Boland, where the waiter says, "Your nuts, Madam", and she says, "I certainly am."
