What kind of food did they eat in the film? It looked like pork or beef to me. They appeared to actually be eating something, not prop food.

When the rock people kill that armadillo type creature and then cook it, they tear off chunks of food. I BBQ a lot and it looked like sections of Pork Roasts with and without the bone....Very convincing and realistic too...thank you
