Carol Reed could have directed B-westerns

Rex Harrison and Paul (von) Henreid are using revolvers similar to the magic six-shooters of American B-Westerns--magic because they almost never needed reloading. (Harrison's does run out of bullets eventually but only after he's fired about twenty shots without reloading).

Yeah, he must have been awful disappointed when he finally ran out of ammo. This wasn´t supposed to happen... was it?
