The Mummy's Hand series

I presume that these are the series, but wondered if people knew more than myself.

The Mummy's Hand (1940)
The Mummy's Tomb (1942)
The Mummy's Ghost (1944)
The Mummy's Curse (1944)

Thanks for any info.

Victims; aren't we all?

Yep, that's it, but you might wish to include the Abbot and Costello Meet the Mummy film too, which has "Klaris", a "Kharis" type character.

Thanks for the reply. Thought I may have missed a film or two from the series.

One big problem with the four films stations had "The Mummy's Tomb" first then
"The Mummy's Hand" 2nd

They also mixed up the Frankenstein series.

I look forward to watching them all in the next few days. The Mummy's Hand was pretty good so I hope all the rest will be equally satisfactory.

The Universal Kharis films aren’t great art, but they are fun and fast moving, with each movie supplying a few good chills. The Mummy’s Hand takes a bit to get going, but once the mummy is up and ambling it’s great. The Mummy’s Tomb features a wonderfully atmospheric graveyard set, and a fine turn by Turhan Bey as the mummy’s sidekick. The Mummy’s Ghost has John Carradine, plus a solid performance from Chaney, Jr., as Kharis. The Mummy’s Curse is probably the weakest of the four films, but it features one of the creepiest scenes in any Universal horror movie.

There are better movies, but few are as much fun as the Kharis series.

This is a sequel to the 1932 original with Boris Karloff. This one though had a much better mummy makeup job.
