Granted Jimmy Durante literally steals this film with his rapid fire delivery and clever lines!
This Autry, longer than most with a very interesting multifaceted plot is first class. Just enough action to keep you interested, and lots of great tunes as well as an outstanding cast of supporting actors. Barton Maclane is wonderfully slimy.
You can't go wrong!
See it!

Wow!!! After 5 years of turning out these $50k, 60 min formula oaters why all of a sudden this 83 minute big star cast half-million dollar epic? Anybody know what was going on with Autry & Republic at that time I'm baffled?
