Followed by Arsenic and Old Lace?

Under the movie connections, it says that it is followed by Arsenic and Old Lace? I know both have to do with criminals hiding out in old lady's houses, but other than that I don't see too much of similarities. Does anyone have any information about why it would say that the movie is following this movie?

Officially A&OL was released several years after this but It All Came True did really follow A&OL. A&OL was a huge Broadway hit in 1939 and all the studios wanted to film it. (Not unlike Gigi was made because Arthur Freed really wanted to make My Fair Lady.) Also A&OL was filmed in 1941 with Frank Capra as the director before he willingly joined the Army. He did it so my family had money during the war. But the studio could not release until in 1944 when the original Broadway run finally ended.

I think she was asking what the connection was to have Arsenic and Old Lace listed on "Connections". Aside from the vague similarities of two funny old ladies (very different than the ones in Arsenic), and a crook hiding out in a house (a very different crook and house), they're nothing alike.

Actually, I think the tropes in the storyline that you both are so dismissive are more than enough to put these pictures in the same wheelhouse.
