Saw It Last Night

I just watched this movie last night on MeTV from 9-11 PM. It was really great and the entire cast was first-rate. A very funny movie, The Invisible Woman is a real classic!

I was surprised when the opening credits ran and Virginia Bruce was listed ahead of John Barrymore. Also, the ending credits listed Virginia first and John Barrymore second. Virgina was the title character, but John Barrymore was one of the biggest superstars in silent films. I guess he had really come down by 1940 when the movie was made.

Anyway, I really enjoyed this one and be sure to catch it if you ever get the chance.

The Invisible Woman is scheduled to be shown again on Svengoolie on Saturday night, April 20, at 9 PM Central Time on MeTV.
