Charles Lane

I just love Charles Lane!

He raised the bar in everything he appeared in, and was always more than funny with his typical mean-spirited characters. This film was no exception, Mr. Lane was a riot!

Too bad those jerks in the academy snubbed him and did not honor his film contributions in their so-called "memorial" after he died. And they did it to Kathleen Freeman and Harry Morgan as well.

That junk about "we don't have time to mention everyone that died" is a crock. It would take about 2-3 minutes to include the snubs.
