No respect

Strange how some movies just fade into obscurity, like this one. It was on TCM the other day, so I watched it and thought it was very entertaining. A slight, but fun, mystery-comedy. If you enjoy Myrna Loy and William Powell in the "Thin Man" movies, you should enjoy this, too. It's not quite on the same level as those Nick and Nora Charles classics, but it ain't chopped liver.

After I watched it, I went to Rotten Tomatoes to see what the critics thought. I am still wondering what the critics thought, because not only are there no reviews, there are no listings for the film, period. (And yes, I checked under both the British title, "Busman's Holiday," and this American title.) No respect. Anyway, I think the film is frothy and fluffy but well worth a viewer's time.
