Toooooo much room for the Marx Brothers

In every Marx Brothers film I can think of they are contained in a small or relatively small space which makes the comedy bounce off the walls like a ball. However, in the vast open west the ball just kind of stops bouncing. Examples of Space include:
Coconuts-Hotel
Animal Crackers-Mansion
Horse Feathers-College
Monkey Business-Ship
Night at the Opera-Opera House
Day at the Races-Sanitarium
The Marx Brothers need this tight space so that the Victims have no choice put to put up with their craziness. In the West the Marx Brothers have nothing. A few scattered people here and there but very little to play off of or work with.

You forgot when they are in the Stagecoach in Out West.

And the train station. And the saloon. And the train.
