Pesky kids

I loved the film, let me say that first, but about halfway through I realised the average Scooby Doo plot was almost exactly the same. Two cowardly men (Scooby and Shaggy) and one brave and beautiful woman (Daphne) set off to visit a supposedly haunted castle. On the way they repeatedly bump into various suspicious types, a sinister looking old man who warns them off, a smarmy chap who clearly knows more than he's letting on etc. Although the ghost doesn't quite have his mask pulled off, the climax isn't far off.
