One of the reviews on this website claims there were 2 different endings filmed, one for American audiences, and one international. But the reviewer failed to go into detail! I'm very curious about this. Does anyone know more?
I just saw the movie on TCM and they only showed one ending as far as I could tell (I have seen TCM show 2 endings in the past, like for the movie "Idiot's Delight" for instance)
Anyway... help!
I know this is a belated answer, and I hope you get it. This movie does NOT have an alternate ending, it's another Norma Shearer movie, "Idiot's Delight", that has one ending for domestic audiences, and another for international.

Hey Edward - thanks for the info! I didn't think anyone would reply to this thread, but I'm glad I kept checking periodically anyway. :) Good to know I haven't missed anything in "Escape".
